President Tinubu’s Anniversary Speech Capture His Government Journey In Economic Reforms, Prosperous Nigeria, Kwankwaso

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as the Federal Government’s efforts to reposition Nigeria’s economy and lay the foundation for sustainable prosperity.
Dr Kwankwaso, who is the Executive Director Finance Hadejia Jammaare River Basin, was reacting to President Tinubu’s Independence Day address to Nigerians, said the President’s emphasis on economic reforms, job creation, industrial development, agriculture and social support programmes demonstrated a clear commitment to addressing some of the country’s longstanding challenges.
He said the reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration had required difficult decisions, noting that the President’s latest address provided an opportunity for Nigerians to assess the direction of the country and the measures being taken to strengthen the economy.
Kwankwaso said, the President’s focus on reducing the cost of living, improving agricultural production, expanding infrastructure and creating opportunities for young Nigerians was particularly important to the country’s long-term development.
The Hadejia Jammaare River Basin Executive Director, also commended the administration’s emphasis on supporting vulnerable Nigerians through social intervention programmes, education financing and access to credit.
He said programmes aimed at improving access to education, healthcare and productive assets could help create greater opportunities for low-income families and young Nigerians.
Kwankwaso further welcomed the President’s call for Nigerians to remain united and focused on building a country where economic opportunities and prosperity are broadly shared.
“Nigeria’s large population, natural resources and youthful workforce provided the country with significant potential for economic growth if supported by appropriate policies, infrastructure and investment just like that of the Present administration of President Tinubu”.
He said, urged Nigerians to support efforts aimed at strengthening the economy and creating an environment where businesses could grow, young people could find productive employment and farmers could increase food production.
He also called for continued attention to the challenges facing ordinary Nigerians, particularly the cost of food, transportation, education and healthcare.
The APC chieftain said the transition from economic reform to broader prosperity would require sustained implementation of government policies and cooperation among the Federal, state and local governments.
He congratulated Nigerians on the 66th anniversary of the country’s independence and expressed optimism that the nation could achieve greater economic prosperity through unity, hard work and responsible leadership.
