Pantami Residents Align Selves With APC Turn Out in Their Thousands to Welcome Dr Jamil Gwamna

A massive reception accorded to the Gombe State APC governorship candidate, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, in Pantami Ward has turned into a major political gathering, as thousands of men, women, youths and elders trooped out to welcome him.
Pantami Ward, located within Gombe metropolis, attracted significant attention on Sunday as the governorship candidate received an enthusiastic reception from a large crowd of residents.
Dr Gwamna visited the ward to inaugurate a new campaign office of the All Progressives Congress (APC), established by Alhaji Abdulhamid Jibrin, as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilisation and promote its policies and programmes.
The turnout at the event, however, became the major talking point, as residents, including men, women, youths, elders and children, came out in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the candidate. The development transformed what was expected to be an office inauguration into a major show of political enthusiasm and support for the Sardaunan of Gombe.
Residents of the ward expressed excitement over Dr Gwamna’s visit, with those who spoke at the gathering saying they considered him the candidate they believed was best qualified and suited to lead Gombe State.
Speaking at the event, Dr Jamil Gwamna commended the people of Pantami for the warm reception, expressing appreciation for their hospitality, respect and show of support.
He stressed the importance of maintaining direct engagement with the people, saying regular interaction was necessary to understand their needs and strengthen collective efforts towards delivering people-oriented leadership.
The event formed part of the APC’s broader efforts to expand its campaign activities and strengthen grassroots engagement as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.
