Governor Yusuf Still Takes Care Of Kwankwaso Financial Needs, Sunusi Bature

The Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf Spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, has alleged that despite separating ways with his Former godfather, Governor Yusuf still provides financial assistance to Kwankwaso.
“I swear to Allah that even in this month of May 2026, Governor Yusuf has given out financial assistance to Kwankwaso and this is what is happening”.
Speaking in a Podcast program, Sunusi Bature, recalls suffering encountered by his Governor Yusuf at the hands of Kwankwaso and his closed allies.
He said, “I remember, in the office of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf there were some cabinet members who are Kwankwaso strong Men, one of them can said to the Governor unspoken words without recourse to the fact he was talking to a Governor”.
“Kwankwaso, ensured that he surrendered Governor Yusuf with this kind of people who felt they were even bigger than the Governor and could do as they wanted”.
He said while recalling movements to APC, that Kwankwaso had severally resisted that he was too big for a Governor to takes him to President Tinubu, because he Tinubu was his personal friend.
“But when it was over and Governor Yusuf finally crossed over to APC, Kwankwaso gathered the State Assembly Members and told them to do the needful”.
He added that but the Assembly members who are Men of proven integrity, shunned Kwankwaso and instead almost all of them followed Governor Yusuf to APC.
