Finally Senator Hanga Dumps Kwankwaso’s NDC

The Senator Representing Kano Central Senatorial District, Senator Rufai Sani Hanga, has finally dumped his NDC Party, but not disclosed his next movement to any political party.
Senator Hanga who is the deputy Minority Whip in the Senate, announced his Decamping out of NDC in a letter dated 3 August 2026 to the Nassarwa Chairman of the Party.
He said in the letter that he was going out of the Party to be able to concentrate on some of his personal activities which he said they are suffering right now.
Senator Rufai Sani Hanga has been speculated since a month ago to nose the idea of getting out of NDC on some reasons he shows as betrayal of his loyalty to the Leader of Kwankwasiyya, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
In the same vein, some high Placed APC members including the National Chairman of the Party, Ganduje and even Governor Yusuf have separately met with Hanga in a bid to get him joined the APC.
Similarly it could be recalled that the Senator had met with President Tinubu, after which he issued a Radio Program saying, “I know Tinubu will win Presidency but his party would failed in Kano”.
