Fulbe Leaders Across Gombe State Endorse Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna for Governor

Leaders and representatives of the Fulbe community across Gombe State have unanimously endorsed the governorship aspiration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna.
The Fulbe leaders stated that their decision was informed by Dr. Gwamna’s integrity, compassion, and longstanding commitment to the welfare and development of the people.
The endorsement was announced during a well-attended meeting held at the APC Square in Gombe, which brought together Fulbe leaders and their representatives from across the state.
The delegation collectively declared its unwavering support for Dr. Gwamna’s vision of a more prosperous, united, and inclusive Gombe State.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Gwamna emphasized that politics should be driven by service rather than the mere pursuit of power.
“Politics is not just about seeking power; it is about serving the people.”
He expressed deep appreciation to the Fulbe leaders for their confidence in his leadership and assured them that, if elected, his administration would be anchored on fairness, justice, inclusiveness, and people-centred development.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Alh Lamido Wakili Shuaibu noted that their support was based on Dr. Gwamna’s proven character, humility, accessibility, and years of selfless service to communities across Gombe State without discrimination.
They further highlighted that his track record of humanitarian interventions and commitment to peaceful coexistence has earned him widespread trust and respect across diverse communities, positioning him as the right leader to move the state forward.
The meeting also underscored the growing momentum behind Dr. Gwamna’s governorship bid, as support continues to expand across communities and interest groups ahead of the 2027 general elections.
