Nigeria Unity Is Uncompromising..North Must Respect Principles Of Rotational Arrangement, Governor Yusuf

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has reiterated that Nigeria’s unity is uncompromising, that Nigerians have decided to come together as one people, and ensure that their agreement of a rotational Presidency between North and South on the basis of right years each is also binding.
The Governor,who was speaking while receiving 50 Campaign Vehicles from Government Tompolo, Sunday hints that, “Nigerians have decided that the initial agreement which was conducted, which was agreed upon in the last two decades, that the North will be in control of the presidency for eight consecutive years, at the end of that, the North will hand over to the South for another eight consecutive years is been fully respected”.
“I want to say that for the last administration, and also when I was elected, that was the former President-elect, President Muhammadu Buhari, at the end of his fourth tenure, based on that agreement, Nigerians decided to re-elect him again for a second and last tenure.”
The former President stayed in government for eight years. And then power was handed over to the South. And President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was elected.
He notes that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is serving Nigeria for the last three and a half years. Now we are coming for another election. Therefore, it is our responsibility as Nigerians, as respected people, to agree that the President should be re-elected for another term of office.
To conclude the eight years that we promised that the South would stay for eight years. Let me say that we have to exercise patience. May Allah get us through to 2031, by that time, that agreement will have been concluded. North, eight years gone. South, by 2031, will be eight years in government”
Governor Yusuf further assured that Kano is behind Mr. President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces 100%. We made a promise because of the efforts of the President in ensuring the provision of infrastructure in all sectors of the economy, including human capital development.
We decided from this side of the region to support his candidature and his re-election by the grace of Allah come January 2027
He reiterated that, Kano remains committed to strengthening our party, deepening our engagement with the people, and delivering the dividends of democracy to our respected citizens. We believe that the continued implementation of the administration’s programs and policies can contribute to further development across the states.

Governor Yusuf commended Chief Tampolo who donated 50 branded vehicles in support of our party in the states and in support of our campaign activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
