From Muhammad Kabir Kano
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate for Kano State in the 2027 General Elections, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Abacha, has said that with final clearance of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, his Party, PDP is ready to reclaim Kano State.
Abacha who received the INEC final clearance with profound gratitude, humility and an unshaken sense of responsibility, notes that, “Kano has been traditionally a PDP and PDP is in the blood of the People’s”.
The Gubernatorial Candidate of PDP further appreciate the national leadership of the party, the Kano State leadership, delegates who earlier on voted for him, stakeholders and, most importantly, the teeming members of the PDP across the 44 local government areas for the confidence they have reposed in him.
“I regard this confidence as a solemn trust, and I am determined to justify it through hard work, consultation and unwavering commitment to the people of Kano State.
“To every member who stood firmly with the party through challenging moments, I say thank you. Your loyalty has kept the PDP strong. Your sacrifices have sustained our structures, and your determination has demonstrated that the spirit of our party remains alive in Kano.
“From this moment, our focus must be the people of Kano. We must take our message of hope, opportunity, accountability and inclusive development to every ward, community and household. Our campaign will not be built on bitterness or personal attacks. It will be driven by ideas, engagement with the people and a clear determination to provide purposeful leadership.
He assured that he was fully prepared for the responsibility ahead. The PDP will approach the 2027 election with a united structure, a clear message and a campaign capable of reaching every part of Kano State.
” We will work relentlessly, mobilise responsibly and engage the electorate with respect.
“Our objective is clear: to win the 2027 governorship election and form the next PDP government in Kano State. We know the road will require discipline, sacrifice and an unprecedented level of organisation, and we are prepared for the task.”
He therefore call on every PDP member to return to the trenches—not for personal ambition, but for the collective interest of Kano. Let us rebuild our structures, strengthen our unity and demonstrate through our conduct that the PDP remains a party capable of bringing people together around a common purpose.
To the people of Kano State, I make this commitment: I will continue to listen, consult and work for a government that recognises the dignity and aspirations of every citizen, regardless of political affiliation, background or location.
The journey to 2027 has begun. The PDP is united, mobilised and ready. With the support of our members, the goodwill of the people and the guidance of Almighty Allah, we are prepared to contest—and win—the governorship election.
