After a hectic and series of marathon meetings between Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, Former National Chairman of APC, Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje and other stakeholders, the main contender in the race for Kano North Senatorial District, Muhammad Tijjani Gwarzo, has Stepdown For the incumbent Senator Barau Jibrin.
The contest between Jibrin and Gwarzo had steer the honest nest in the Kano political cycle with the Duo fighting a no surrender battle to occupied the Northern Senatorial District seat, however the persistent and doges stance of Governor Yusuf finally resulted in the reconciliation position.
Speaking while stepping down, Muhammad Tijjani Gwarzo a Former Minister of Housing and also former Deputy Governor, said he has taken the decision to allowed peace to reign and help APC wins it’s election in all positions.
He said, “after series of stakeholders meetings and the intervention of our Leader Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and other leaders, I’m please to announce my stepping down for my brother Senator Barau Jibrin”.
Gwarzo emphasized that he was stepping down to ensure that APC remains family and united that will make it wins elections from bottom to up, he commented President Tinubu for his fatherly role and also thanks Governor Yusuf.
The Deputy President of the Senate Senator Barau Jibrin while responding commended Governor Yusuf for showing leadership to end the contest Debacles and also salute Ganduje and other leaders for their roles.
He assured that APC would remain one family in Kano that will ensure the victory of President Tinubu, Governor Yusuf and all other positions.
