Iqra’a Academy for Science and Islamic Education, Nguru, Yobe State, is set to hold its second graduation ceremony alongside a Qur’anic memorisation graduation on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
The ceremony, which will take place at Kadawa Daki 9, Nguru, is expected to bring together graduating students, parents, teachers, community members and other well-wishers to celebrate the academic and Qur’anic achievements of the students.

According to the management of the academy, the academic graduation ceremony will commence at 9:00am and end at 12:30pm.
Students graduating from SS3, JSS3, Primary 5 and Nursery 3 are expected to be honoured during the academic session.
The Qur’anic memorisation graduation will take place later in the day from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, where students who have successfully completed the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an will be recognised and celebrated.
The management said the event was organised to celebrate the commitment, hard work and achievements of the graduating students, particularly in academic excellence, Qur’anic memorisation, discipline and good character.
It added that the academy remains committed to providing an educational system that combines science, Islamic education and character development, with the aim of preparing children for a productive future.
The management further invited parents, guardians, teachers, relatives, community leaders and members of the public to attend the ceremony and join the academy in celebrating the achievements of the students.
It said the presence and support of guests would add dignity and joy to the memorable occasion while encouraging the graduates to continue pursuing knowledge and contributing positively to society.
The academy described the graduation as an important milestone in the lives of the students, saying their achievements should serve as motivation for other young people to pursue both academic and religious knowledge.
The event is also expected to highlight the importance of Qur’anic education, alongside modern education, in promoting discipline, moral values and responsible citizenship among young people.
Iqra’a Academy for Science and Islamic Education said its philosophy is centred on excellence in science, excellence in Islamic education and excellence in character.
The management expressed optimism that the graduates would use the knowledge and values acquired during their studies to make meaningful contributions to their families, communities and society at large.
It also prayed for Allah to bless the graduates, make their knowledge beneficial to them and their families, and enable them to become a source of positive impact in the wider community.
