Kano Is Working Under Governor Yusuf, Journalists Should Reports Positively, Muhammad Garba

Mallam Muhammad Garba,  Chief of Staff to the Former All Progressive Congress APC National Chairman, Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, has said that, Kano is today working under the Government of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, asking Journalists to report positively the activities of the Government.
Speaking while unavailing the newly refurbished office of the Kano Correspondents Chapel of the NUJ, Muhammad Garba, said, “Politics aside, Kano is actually working and this clearly shows the concerns of the Government in turning around things for the benefits of the State”
Welcoming guests to the event, the Chairman of the Kano Correspondents’ Chapel, Murtala Adewale, reaffirmed the executive committee’s commitment to enhancing the welfare and working conditions of members.
“It’s not only about renovation; it’s about providing a conducive working environment, a center for idea sharing, and an avenue to host important guests,” Adewale said. “We are not done yet. We will continue to serve, and serve well.”
Adewale also expressed deep appreciation to the renovation committee that drove the execution of the project, acknowledging the hard work of Chairman Abdullahi Jalaludeen, Secretary Salim Umar Ibrahim, and members Abdullahi Yusuf, Jacob Adeola Ajakaye, and Mohammad Kabir in delivering the upgraded facility.
The event drew praise from prominent media professionals, community leaders, and publishers who commended the chapel’s leadership and the renovation committee for transforming the complex.
Professor Sule Ya’u Sule applauded the chapel’s executive team, noting, “The Correspondents Chapel truly has a working leader. Please, keep it up. We are with you.”
Adding to the tributes, Abdulsalam Muhammad praised the chairman’s dedication, stating, “He’s never tired of bringing new innovations, so I will urge all to continue to support him.”
The Managing Director of Muhasa Radio and Television, Kano, Aishatu Sule, expressed delight at the transformation of the press facility. “I’m elated and so amazed at the development in the CC Kano. Keep it up,” she remarked.
Similarly, the publisher of SolaceBase newspaper, Abdullateef Abubakar Jos, hailed the chapel’s leadership style, stating, “The chairman of Kano CC is making us all proud. He’s an example of good leadership.”
Aliyu M. Dangida, publisher of Hot Pen news magazine, also commended the project, stating, “I am very impressed with this work and praise the leadership of Kano CC.”
Highlighting the wider regional impact of the initiative, Habibu Nuhu Kila, former spokesman to former Jigawa State Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, revealed plans to replicate the achievement elsewhere. “I intend to talk to the Correspondents Chapel in Dutse to emulate the Kano Chapel,” Kila noted.
The event concluded with a guided tour of the modernized office facility, which features upgraded workspaces and media conference amenities aimed at supporting journalists operating within the state
