As controversy trails Horse riding of the 16 Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi ii from his Kano Emirate Council to Sani Abacha Indoor Stadium, the Venue of the Nigeria 66th Anniversary, some close allies of the Emir have said the actions is justifiable.
Kano State Government, had banned Horse Riding by the Traditional Leaders in the State to avoid clashes and violence uncertainty, however, Aminu Ado Bayero, still carried out his tradition, living some President Tinubu/Governor Yusuf posters been destroyed.
However, as the 16th Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi ii, came back from his long Foreign Trips, Wednesday, he was received by a thunderous crowd but still managed to control them.
Emir Sanusi ii in the Following Morning of Thursday, decided to ride horse to the venue of the Nation Independence anniversary, something that attracted the attention of the opposition, making series of derogatory remarks against the Emir.
Some opposition described the actions of the Emir as a total violation of the State government who issued orders banning any kind of Horse riding.
However, a close allies of the Emir who don’t want his name mentioned reminded that Emir Muhammadu Sanusi is legal appointed Emir and he can do whatever he wishes.
He said, “because Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi ii is legal appointed Emir and as such he can go anywhere he so wishes.
