Defections To APC: Senators Kabiru Gaya, Sani Hanga Met With President Tinubu

In what affairs a final touches to their proposed defections to the ruling APC, Serving Senator Rufai Sani Hanga of NDC and his former Counterpart Senator Kabiru Gaya, have met President Tinubu at Ado Villa, Sunday.
The Presidential meetings with the two top NDC members was said to have been facilitated by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin.
Senator Barau Jibrin who posted on his timeline that, “a moment ago, I had the honour of leading Senator Rufai Hanga, who represents Kano Central and former Senator Kabiru Gaya (Kano South Senatorial District) to the State House, Abuja, for a meeting with the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.”
Senator Kabiru Gaya, had few months ago defected out of APC in a protest for non recognition of his presence in the scheme of things by the Ganduje led power blocks.
The Senator who defected to ADC with Kwankwaso later on followed same Kwankwaso to NDC but failed to secure his Senatorial District contest to a new comma.
However, recent events that saw the National Chairman of APC Professor Nantawe visiting Gaya at his Abuja Country home might have changed the narrative.
Already, Senator Rufai Sani Hanga on his part had met with his kings men and other stakeholders including his campaign teams as he finally decamped out
