Abba/Garo 2027: A Strategic Capture Of Kano 44 Local Governments, Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso

As Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, officially announced the nomination of his Deputy, Murtala Sule Galadima Garo, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election, the development has been viewed a strategic disposition in ensuring the State 44 Local Governments voted for the Governor Continuity in Office.
Submitting this position, Monday, Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, the Director Finance Hadejia Jammaare River Basin, he said the track records of the Deputy Governor Murtala Sule Garo is something that is well known by everybody.
“Don’t forget that just recently in the last Government of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Murtala Sule Garo held a strategic position of Commissioner for Local Governments, and during that period you have seen how he helped transform the Councils areas”.
Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, explained that not only transforming the Local Governments, Garo maintained a loyal relationship with both political, religious and traditional leaders of the 44 Local Governments.
He said, “as of today I bet you, in the whole of Kano no Politician that enjoys that respect from Local Governments stakeholders like Murtala Sule Garo this is because even outside power he continues his relationship with them”.
Similarly, Kwankwaso reminded that the Deputy Governor it is on notice that he held position of Algon Chairman when he was Chairman of Kabo Local Government area of the State.
” Also away from holding political offices, Murtala Sule Garo is a very loyal and respectful person who always vows his heads to his superior and you will never see arguing or Sabotaging you when you relate to him”.
Therefore, Musa Kwankwaso thanks Governor Yusuf for the choice of Garo as his running mate assuring him that he will not betray him.
“Let me tell you that together with Sule Garo you will capture Kano for yourself and President Tinubu who is already been accepted because of his tremendous developmental projects he is carrying out in the State”
Governor Yusuf, had said the decision followed Garo’s outstanding loyalty, commitment, and unwavering passion for the development of Kano State since assuming office as Deputy Governor.
He expressed satisfaction with the working relationship between them, noting that Garo had demonstrated competence, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility in the discharge of his duties.
“I have no regrets for choosing Garo as my Deputy in the last few months, and he has proven to be the right choice so far. I want to confirm to you that I have every confidence in him,” Governor Yusuf declared.
The Governor also passed a vote of confidence on the Deputy Governor, describing him as a dependable partner whose contributions have strengthened the administration’s drive to deliver meaningful development across Kano State.
