Kidnappers Of Abducted Lawyer, Hashima Gave Family 48hours To Pay Ransom

The Muslims Lawyers Association of Nigeria MULAN, has been thrown into serious confusion, following an 48 hours ultimatum given to them to pay the Ransom of N10 Million of the Abducted Lawyer Hashima Abdullahi.

The Immediate passed President of the Association, Barrister Saidu Muhammad said that, “with a heavy heart, we bring to your attention the abduction of our colleague, _HASHIMU ABDULLAHI, ESQ._, a respected member of the _Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria [MULAN]”

He said, Barrister Abdullahi was abducted 21 days ago while returning from the MULAN Annual General Conference in Kano.

Barrister Saidu Muhammad notes that right now the kidnappers initially demanded ₦200,000,000. After negotiations, the demand has been reduced to ₦10,000,000.00.

“We have been given a 48-HOUR ULTIMATUM. Deadline: Friday, 17th July 2028 to pay the Ransom”

He added that the kidnappers have threatened to cease all contact if the ransom is not paid within this period. We are deeply concerned for his safety.”
