Kano Pilgrims Board Announce N7.6M Hajj Fair For 2027

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, has announced for 2027 Hajj Fair of N7,672,822.00 and as well extended the payment deadline to 31 August 2026.
This follows the directive of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), and after due consultations on the 2027 Hajj fare.
The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, confirmed that the approved fare applies to all intending pilgrims from Kano State.
Alhaji Abubakar Matawalle further disclosed that passport uploading will continue until the deadline. He emphasised the need for intending pilgrims to submit their passports even before completing their balance payment, in order to facilitate the timely uploading and processing of their passport details.
Similarly, pilgrims who have already paid ₦7,000,000.00 are required to pay a balance of ₦672,822.00 to complete the approved Hajj fare.
He further stated that intending pilgrims making fresh payments are required to pay the full amount of ₦7,672,822.00.
The Director-General also announced that the deadline for payment is 31 August 2026, in line with the directive of NAHCON.
He therefore called on all intending pilgrims to ensure that they complete their payments before the deadline in order to secure their Hajj seats.
