Mallam Inuwa Waya a 2029 Gubernatorial Aspirant under APC, said that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State outstanding achievement of emerging first in funding education in subSaharan West Africa, is a direct consequence of the bold declaration of a state of emergency in the education sector and the unprecedented budgetary allocations of 29.5 percent in 2024 and 30 percent in 2025.
Waya, reminded that Since assuming office, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has embarked on an ambitious programme of constructing new schools, renovating old and dilapidated classrooms, recruiting and training teachers, and providing essential teaching and learning facilities.
” These strategic interventions have transformed the education sector and laid a solid foundation for future generations.”
He notes that the international recognition is not only a victory for the Government of Kano State but also a source of pride for the people of Kano State and Nigeria as a whole
