Ex-LGs Chairman Find Solace In Tailoring After Court Ouster
From Muhammad Kabir, Kano
The Court Ousted Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government Area, Abdullahi Ghali Bassaf, has find Solace in Tailoring after been removed from Office by a Court Judgement.
The Chairman returned to his tailoring profession following his removal from office by the court a couple of months ago.
Bassaf, who practised tailoring before venturing into politics, was seen at his workshop resuming the trade that had long served as his primary vocation prior to his emergence as council chairman.
Bassaf return to tailoring has attracted widespread attention, with many residents and social media users describing the move as a demonstration of the dignity of labour and the importance of maintaining a vocation beyond public office.
In a goodwill message shared with fellow artisans, the former council chairman offered prayers for those engaged in vocational trades.
“Fellow artisans, we pray that Allah blesses our trades and grant abundant prosperity to our livelihoods,” he said.
The development comes in the wake of the court’s decision that brought his tenure as chairman to an end, prompting his return to private enterprise.
