Gwamna Declares ‘Operation Deliver Your Ward, Calls for APC Unity

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Gombe State, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has urged party members and supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation under what he described as ‘Operation Deliver Your Ward, calling on them to secure victory for the party from their respective polling units and wards.
Speaking during the celebration of Gombe State’s 30th anniversary, Gwamna declared “Operation Deliver Your Ward,” urging party faithful to take mobilisation back to their communities.
Dr. Gwamna said the true measure of political strength and influence lies in the ability to mobilise grassroots support, beginning with one’s polling unit and extending to the ward level.
He emphasised that, in the current political dispensation, he would hold in the highest regard those political associates and supporters who demonstrate commitment through effective mobilisation, winning their polling units and delivering their wards for the APC.
“We will continue to reach every nook and cranny of Gombe State to seek support and votes,” he said.
The governorship candidate also called on party members to put aside their differences, close ranks and work together as a united force, likening the strength of the party to the strands of a broom bound together.
He further urged voluntary organisations, support groups, youths, women and other APC stakeholders to step up grassroots engagement, strengthen the party’s structures and mobilise support towards securing victory at all levels.
Gwamna reaffirmed his commitment to providing purposeful and responsible leadership, assuring the people of Gombe State that, if entrusted with the mandate to serve, he would govern with justice, honesty and accountability while upholding the confidence reposed in him.
