The 16 Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi ii, horse. Riding from his Kano Emirate Council to Sani Abacha Indoor Stadium, Thursday, the Venue of the Nigeria 66th Anniversary, is been described justifiable actions been the only recognized Emir by the State Government.
Kano State Government, had allegedly banned, the disputed 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, from Horse Riding to avoid clashes and violence uncertainty, however, Bayero, still carried out his tradition, living some President Tinubu/Governor Yusuf posters been destroyed.
On his part, the 16th Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi ii, came back from his long Foreign Trips, Wednesday, were he was received by a thunderous crowd but still managed to control them not to go on rampage.
Emir Sanusi ii, on Thursday, decided to ride horse to the venue of the Nation Independence anniversary, something that attracted the attention of the opposition, making series of derogatory remarks against him.
Some opposition described the actions of the Emir as a total violation of the State government who issued orders banning any kind of Horse riding, something that a source clarified to be slammed only Aminu Ado Bayero who is not been recognized by the authorities in the City.
A close allies of the Emir who don’t want his name mentioned reminded that Emir Muhammadu Sanusi is legally appointed Emir and his Horse riding which though was not even a Durbar as been misconstrued was legally binding.
He said, “because Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi ii is legally appointed Emir and as such he can ride and even carries out Durbar according to the tradition of the Emirate Council.
