Approval Of N46Bn Resurfacing Of Kano Airport 2-Runway Vindicates Tinubu’s Love For North, Kwankwaso

As the Federal Government, approved 46 billion naira for the resurfacing and reconstruction of the second runway at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, Northerners have been advised to always appreciate good gesture from  President Tinubu, more so that approval shows his clear unbiased position for the Region.
Responding to the approval of the projects, the Director Finance Hadejia Jammaare River Basin, Dr Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, said that, “I expect my People regardless of Political affiliation to thanks the President Tinubu because this is something that would boost the entire region Commercial and trading activities”.
“We should imbibe the culture of appreciating good if it is done to Us, not always to go on shouting on every small negative development, while shunning positive things that comes out ways”, Kwankwaso advised.
The Aviation and Aerospace Development Minister Festus Keyamo announced the approval while commissioning the airport’s newly remodelled Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo Domestic Terminal.
Keyamo said about 60 per cent of the contract sum had already been released and the contractor had mobilised to site. He described the project as part of efforts to upgrade Kano Airport and strengthen its position as a major aviation and commercial gateway for Northern Nigeria.
Further commenting on this development, Dr Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, commended President Tinubu, the Chairman Aviation Governing Board and a Former National Chairman of APC, Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, the Minister of Aviation, the Chairman House Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi and all those who supported the approval of the Project.
He explained that on the completion of the Resurfacing of the second runway, Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport will regained it’s lost glory of been the Northern Economic gateway.
Kwankwaso, appealed to Northern Elites, Ullamas, Traditional Leaders to come forward and show their appreciation and also inculcates into their Families loves and support to Leaders who wants to progress their region.
