NACCIMA Ratified Dala Chamber Of Commerce In Kano

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), at its Executive Committee/Council Meeting held in Port Harcourt, has formally ratified and confirmed the registration of he Dala Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (DALCCIMA), as a City Chamber under the provisions of the NACCIMA Constitution.
This development accordingly marks a significant achievement in the growth and development of DALCCIMA and underscores the collective vision, commitment, and dedication of its Patrons, Council Members, Trustees, and the entire membership.
Speaking on the development, the Director General of DALCCIMA, Yusuf Shehu, FCA, described the ratification as a major step forward in strengthening the voice of the private sector in Kano State and Northern Nigeria.
“This landmark achievement is a testament to the vision, commitment, and tireless efforts of our Patrons, the Council, Trustees, and all Members who have stood with DALCCIMA since inception. The ratification places Dala Chamber on the national map as a recognized voice for businesses in Kano, with full rights and responsibilities within the NACCIMA movement,” he said.
He notes that, as a recognized City Chamber, DALCCIMA will now joins the league of Nigeria’s recognized City Chambers, gaining direct access to NACCIMA’s policy advocacy platforms, trade missions, and engagements with the Federal Government.
Shehu assured that,vMembers will benefit from access to capacity-building programmes, funding linkages, African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) opportunities, and national Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) initiatives under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“The Chamber will play a more strategic role in promoting ethical business practices, fostering job creation for Kano youths, advancing economic growth, and championing the values of Aminci da Gaskiya (Peace and Integrity) in business.”
He added that, the Chamber extends its profound appreciation to all Patrons for their invaluable guidance, Council Members for their strategic leadership, Trustees for their unwavering support, and Members for their loyalty, trust, and contributions.
“This ratification belongs to all of us. Allah ya cigaba da ba mu nasara,” the Director General added.
While celebrating this achievement, DALCCIMA emphasizes that the journey toward building a stronger and more vibrant private sector continues.
” Members are therefore encouraged to remain active and committed to Chamber activities, Pay membership dues promptly and participate fully in programmes and initiatives, Mobilize more MSMEs, industrialists, traders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to join DALCCIMA, and Uphold the Chamber’s Code of Ethics through integrity, fairness, professionalism, and transparency in all dealings.
The DG said Chamber remains committed to protecting private sector interests, fostering strategic partnerships with government and development institutions, and contributing meaningfully to the prosperity of Kano State and Nigeria at large.
